Who would have thought that it rains in the desert?
It happens occasionally, I know, but almost our trip to Yulara had been filled with bad, unusual weather. Our tents had been soaked (again), our Field of Lights sunrise tour was cloudy, and the lightning seemed never-ending.
Thankfully, we had one clear evening without a cloud at the sky, and so we rushed over to Uluru for sunset.
It was totally worth it.

These last two photos here are my favourite. Alex noticed the silhouette we made against the sunset and had us pose on the car. It turned out brilliantly, great eye Alex!
WOW- these views!!! Looks like so much fun!!

Thanks Mackenzie! It was a long drive to get to Uluru, but worth every second for that view 🙂
