Grow A Mo, Support A Bro

It is officially November, and the year is coming to an end. Before we start putting up the Christmas decorations, we need to remember that there is something very special about this month, which also goes by another name: Movember.

Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide. Every Mo can inspire donations, conversations and real change.

Step 1: Grab some friends and get involved
Step 2: Shave your beards and grow a moustache
Step 3: Make it count

Matt and other guys from the Mad Monkey Calypso team will be growing their mo’s in support of awareness for testicular and prostate cancer. While it’s definitely more of a challenge for us girls to get involved, we’ll help by encouraging others to grow their mo and start important discussions outside of the hostel.

Though the Movember Foundation, these incredible lads are joining together with a goal of raising $2000 (AUD). Support the bros as they grow their mo’s!
