The Breakfast Club – £££ – 8/10
Breakfast – Lunch
2-4 Rufus St, London N1 6PE, UK
With ‘breakfast’ in the name, you’d think it was the place to come for it, and you’d be right. Make sure to get there early though as it’s very popular, and often has a queue to get in.
We got there around 8am on a Friday and had to wait outside the front door for about 20 minutes for a table. Once in, the waitress was quick to take our order – 2x ‘The All American’, to suit the style of the cafe. Pancakes, eggs, sausage, potatoes, bacon and maple syrup. Yum. Coffee was pretty good too. The cafe interior had a quirky American Diner feel, indie music and hipster servers.
For both plates and coffees it came to almost £30, which is one of the more expensive breakfasts we’ve had, even in London. Worth the wait? Maybe not, but still a cool place for brekky in The Big Smoke.
